[Micro-Explainer] Stop being data-driven, be intelligence-driven

The insight here is that you DO NOT want to become “data-driven”. Your fingers are “data-driven”, your brain provides instructions and they blindly follow. The BORG in Star Trek are “data-driven”, meaning they are under the control of a central ‘collective’ hive-mind. If this was the most efficient design, you and I would not have separate brains. There is a reason we’re not “data-driven” as a species, and for this same reason you wouldn’t want your organization to become data-driven.
